01 Description
ProtectorFlex® PK pipes are dual-layer heat-resistant pipes of increased flexibility made from a polymer compound with special inner and outer layers of FV-0 category, with increased resistance to ultraviolet exposure.
Can be supplied with a drawstring (steel wire in the pipe).
Design
- Inner layer: smooth, flame-resistant
- Outer layer: corrugated, flame-resistant, with increased UV-resistance
(at least 50 years)

02 Application area
Mechanical protection of high-voltage cable lines
Intended for mechanical protection of high-voltage cable lines up to 500 kV during their installation in conditions where pipes are subject to requirements of increased flexibility, resistance to UV radiation, and flame-resistant (FV-0 category).

Following PUE, installation of cables with a voltage of 1 kV and above on bridges, overpasses, and in tunnels is permitted only using non-combustible materials.

- In overload mode of cable lines up to 120°C (for 8 hours a day)
- In short-circuit mode up to 250°C on the cable core and 350°C on the cable screen
Shipping length
Standard shipping length is a section 6 m (12 m) long or coils of agreed length up to 100 m for pipe diameters up to 200 mm.
