01 Description
Energotek KVL adapter is a complex solution for arranging and protecting power cables up to 500 kV at transition points where the cable line connects to an overhead line, as well as where cables rise from the ground onto metal structures. Intended for laying trenched and trenchless under UV exposure.

- Cable clamps polymer UV-resistant, flame-retardant, dynamically stable
- Hangers for pipe fastening Aluminum, corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic
- Heat-shrinkable sleeves Reinforced, UV-resistant, halogen-free, with adhesive layer
Hardware for cable clamps and hangers is not included in the delivery kit.

ProtectorFlex® PK pipes, included in the system, have high mechanical strength:
– ring stiffness – 6 kN/m2
– light impact resistance (L code) - Cable clamps ensure reliable cable fixation and prevent its displacement under external and electromagnetic influences
- Fire-safe design
- Resistant to UV exposure
- Resistant to corrosion
- Resistant to chemically aggressive environments (seawater, acids, alkalis, etc.)
- Colour stability: no additional coating is required throughout the service life
- Heat resistance: system elements are heat-resistant throughout their service life
- Climatic version and installation category according to GOST 15150-69: UHL1 (climatic category: cold/temperature), M1 (standard vibration and shock resistant)

Guidelines for selecting the Energotek KVL adapter type and size
The Energotek KVL cable protection system at transition points includes all necessary components for cable protection and its fastening on metal structures of the transition point.
Adapter version is selected based on the outer diameter of the cable
The pipe diameter, sizes of cable and pipe clamps, and heat-shrinkable sleeves are determined by the manufacturer.
Pipe length, quantity of cable clamps and pipe hangers depends on the design of the transition points and is determined at the design stage.
