Features of electrical enclosures
When selecting an electrical enclosure, the following factors should be taken into account:
- Dimensions of the electrical enclosure. The enclosure size should not only precisely match the installation space but also take into account the volume and quantity of equipment to be installed.
- Installation method. Depending on the installation type, electrical enclosures can be wall-mounted or floor-standing. Possible installation options include recessed installation, mounting to a pole or metal structure.
- Reliability. The electrical enclosure must provide reliable protection for the electrical equipment installed inside against mechanical damage, dirt, water and adverse environmental conditions, as well as ensure the safety of people in the immediate vicinity of or in contact with the enclosure.
- Ease of use. An important selection criterion is unobstructed access to the contents of the electrical enclosure and ease of installation.
- Climatic design. The permissible operating temperature range and installation category must be taken into account (indoor installation, outdoor installation, under a canopy, adverse weather conditions, presence of aggressive environments,
etc. ).
Energotek electrical enclosures meet all of the above requirements, ensuring reliable operation under various conditions.
Advantages of Energotek electrical enclosures
- resistance to corrosion and exposure to aggressive and chemically active environments;
-
resistance to
UV radiation ; - protection rating: IP54 and IP65 (against dust, moisture and contaminants);
- mechanical impact resistance: IK10;
- non-combustible;
- lightweight;
- electrically safe, do not require grounding and have dielectric properties;
- quick and easy installation on the floor, wall, in a recess, on a pole or metal structure;
- do not block signals (radio, GSM);
- suitable for harsh environmental conditions (wide operating temperature range: -60 °C to +90 °C);
-
comply with all applicable GOST requirements and other quality standards (
GOST 32127–2013, TU27.33.13 -001-3431 1042–2018 ); - service life of more than 30 years;
- retain their colour throughout their entire service life;
- a wide range of dimensions suitable for various applications.
The standard package of a polymer electrical enclosure includes: an enclosure with mounting hinges, a cover with an integrated lock, a steel mounting plate, sealed cable glands (optional), and a foundation section (optional). The enclosure can be factory-equipped with the required electrical equipment.
