ProtectorLine® KS (II) pipes

Dual-layer, flexible, increased strength, spiral-type
For mechanical protection of power cable lines, control cables, and FO communication lines
01 Description
ProtectorLine® KS (II) are dual-layer pipes of a special spiral-type shape contributing to high ring stiffness indicators with a minimal product weight. The smooth inner surface of the pipe eases the process of pulling the cable through the duct.
Can be supplied with a steel drawstring in the pipe for cable pulling.
Protectorline® cable line protection system
(at least 30 years)
Key advantages
- Increased strength: high ring stiffness up to SN48 and possibility to be laid in trenches (with compaction needed), under roads, crossings
- The smooth inner layer eases the cable pulling
- Flexibility: small-radius bending is possible
- Mechanical strength throughout the entire service life
- Resistance to aggressive and chemically active environments
- Light weight: construction vehicles are not required for installation
02 Application area
Mechanical protection of power cable lines, control cables, and FO communication lines
Intended for mechanical protection of power cable lines, control cables, and FO communication lines. Used for open-trench installation, including along routes with complex geometry, where pipes shall have both flexibility and mechanical strength.
Laying method
- Open-cut installation
